Pakistani Wedding Vancouver - Mahvish and Baber

I knew that capturing Mahvish and Baber’s love story would be a pleasure when we met. I listened as they expressed their true gratitude for one another and the way they cherished the idea of spending their lives together. The couple held each other in high regard and happily displayed their playful affection. Their happiness illuminated the room as well as everyone around them.

The couple’s first bridal look took place at the Rose Garden in New Westminster, abundant with flower beds and a romantic gazebo. Right from start, the bride and groom were excited and amused as they danced, laughed and ran through the grass hand in hand. Baber twirled his beautiful bride in her sequin Pakistani bridal gown and veil that glistened in the sunlight. The down-to-earth couple created a dreamy essence for the photoshoot as they laid in the grasses and among flower beds of the garden. There’s no better feeling as a photographer than being able to bring a client’s vision to life.

Creating the personalized Bollywood-style video out of the first look was one of Mahvish’s romantic visions for their wedding and remarked that this photoshoot was something that they would remember forever. I was touched to hear Baber describing how meaningful and fun it was to create these moments with his wife. The ultimate vision for my clients is not merely photos and videos to cherish, but also a truly memorable experience along the way.

The wedding reception was lively and elegant, with all eyes on the radiant bride and groom. Golden décor, lush bouquets and sparkling chandeliers gave a regal ambiance to the occasion. Friends and family took to the podium to share their words of love and support for the smitten newlyweds. Lively speeches were plentiful, filled with admiration for the young couple as well as good humor. A tasteful slideshow of childhood pictures was presented, which brought Mahvish to near tears before returning to her cheerful self by the end of the show.

The bride and groom shared their first dance to the classic love song “A Whole New World” as a gesture to the exciting life ahead of them as husband and wife. Mahvish and Baber looked at each other as if they were on top of the world: strong and confident in the moment, nothing could stop them. The dance floor filled with guests young and old enjoying the celebratory magic of the party.

After a long and exciting day for the bride and groom, I managed to ask them for one more photo at the end of their wedding. Holding one another beneath the many chandeliers, Mahvish and Baber were lost in their own world, and so in love. The couple glowed with anticipation of the beautiful life ahead of them. I’m thrilled that I was able to capture this particular moment, as it turned out to be one their favourites. And to my delight, when the bride and groom got their photos they had the romantic chandelier shot framed right away. The newlyweds told me that they love this final photo not only because of how happy they look but because it commemorates the beginning of the rest of their life together.

I know that Mavish and Baber will thrive as they grow, travel and adventure through their years together and I wish them all the best!
