Asian Wedding Vancouver - Tina and Thach

From a childhood crush, to a radiant lifelong love: It was the day that Tina and Thach’s vision of spending the rest of their lives together finally came true! With the love and support of many friends and family, this wedding was a heartfelt and exciting celebration.

Tina and Thach lost in each other dancing to the music at Granville Island Vancouver

The wedding day began at the stylish and sleek Element Vancouver Hotel with the wedding party. Showing off gifts from the bride and groom: the bridesmaids wore matching silk robes to get ready and the groomsman sported dapper purple bow ties. Tina would wear not one but two exquisite gowns: one for the ceremony and one for the reception. The bride’s look also included sparkling stud earrings, an angelic sequinned hair piece, a remarkably detailed pair of silver heels, and of course her dazzling princess cut engagement ring.

The ceremony took place at the stunning Celebration Pavilion in Queen Elizabeth Park. The pavilion is a lovely space filled with natural light where the back walls open up to a garden and patio that create an enchanting ceremony backdrop. In the most adorable fashion, Tina and Thach’s three year old son introduced his mother’s grand entrance with a sign that read “Daddy, Here Comes Mommy!”. All eyes were on the glowing bride, accompanied by a cheerful applause as she continued her walk down the aisle with her son in one arm and bouquet in the other. The ceremony was tasteful and heartfelt, drawing tears of happiness as Tina and Thach each read their vows.

The wedding party was vibrant and fun, which made for excellent group photos with many laughs. The bride and groom had themselves a romantic photoshoot at Granville Island where they were serenaded by a talented local guitarist and onlookers admired their kind and gentle affection.

The reception space was decorated with large, bulb-lit letters of “LOVE”, lush bouquets, and an impressive donut wall! Guests enjoyed a multi-course dinner as the bride and groom visited each table for a traditional Vietnamese wine toast. The pearl-lined wedding cake, surrounded by rose petals, was confectionary perfection. Warm embraces followed every speech and happiness filled the air. Tina and Thach showcased their first dance before guests enthusiastically joined the dance floor. One very unique feature of this fun-filled evening included a raffle held in which all proceeds were donated to BC Children’s Hospital. Wedding traditions continued with the newlywed trivia shoe game, the bouquet toss, and of course dancing the night away.

Tina and Thach are a wonderfully paired couple. They bring out the shine in each other and love one another truly and kindly. This marriage is what dreams are made of, and it was an honor to be part of their special day.
